Hi, I'm Jose!

A place to find your voice in another language
My mission is to help you discover that learning Spanish isn’t just about studying words, rules, or grammar—it’s about opening a door to other people. For me, languages are a wonderful way to bring us closer together, to understand one another better, and to forge connections that didn’t exist before. That’s why I want my classes to be a space where you can find your own voice, build confidence, and feel that every new word brings you a little closer to the world and the people who live in it.
My teaching method, what my classes are like:
- Personalized lessons from day one
- Follow-up between classes
- Clear and Practical Grammar
- Genuine communication
- Materials tailored to you
- A safe space to make mistakes
If you're just starting out, we'll take it step by step. We'll cover useful vocabulary, simple phrases, and real-life situations so you can communicate from day one without feeling lost.
My goal at this stage is for you to overcome your fear, understand how the language works, and start speaking with confidence—even if you still make mistakes. The important thing here is to build a solid foundation and feel that you can move forward.
If you already have a foundation, we'll work on helping you speak more fluently. We'll practice real-life conversations, sharing opinions and experiences, using more precise vocabulary, and mastering structures that will help you express yourself better.
In this stage, I’ll help you correct common mistakes, expand your resources, and stop translating so much in your head, so that the language starts to flow more naturally.
If you're already at an advanced level, we'll focus on the finer points: sounding more natural, using idioms, adapting your tone, and communicating with greater precision and personality.
We'll cover more complex topics, discussions, texts, culture, pronunciation, and style—so that you not only speak correctly, but also develop your own voice in the language.
A little bit more about me
I am a student of Translation and Interpretation in Madrid, with Spanish, English, and French as my primary languages. In addition, I continue to expand my linguistic horizons by learning Greek and Spanish Sign Language, because for me, languages are a wonderful way to discover the world and connect with other people.
I've always felt that knowing languages has something special, almost magical, about it: it's like having a little superpower that lets you travel in a different way, understand other cultures, and forge connections that wouldn't exist without words.
I also love traveling, exploring new cities, and learning from every place I visit. And, so you can get to know me a little better, I previously studied Clinical Laboratory Science and Pharmacy, so health is a topic that interests me greatly. Outside of class, I enjoy listening to music, watching movies, and taking care of my pets and plants.
