Group Class Dynamics
Group classes last 90 minutes and are held once a week in small groups. Each session begins with an introductory segment to answer questions, review previous material, and introduce new theoretical concepts in a clear and practical way.
After that, most of the class is devoted to conversation. We cover a variety of topics, real-life situations, useful vocabulary, and questions that encourage students to participate, share their opinions, and express themselves more and more naturally.
We will try to conduct most of the classes in Spanish so that you can get used to the language right from the start. When necessary, we can use English or French to answer questions, explain nuances, or make things easier to understand.
During the class, the teacher will correct mistakes in a clear and constructive manner, helping you improve your pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and fluency without constantly interrupting the flow of conversation. The goal is for each correction to help you make progress and gain confidence.
This format works very well in a group setting because each student brings a different way of thinking, expressing themselves, and responding. Listening to other opinions, learning from others’ mistakes, and participating in real conversations helps students gain confidence and feel more comfortable speaking Spanish.
